It was windy and cold. I felt so cold and my trip wasn’t easy. I was planning to go Greenwich by rail. Before I departed from home, I made plan how to get there. So I went to London Bridge station and I tried to transfer DLR however I couldn’t find DLR at there. Though the lonely planet said I could transfer DLR to Greenwich at London Bridge station. So I had to get Jubilee line to take DLR to go Greenwich. The railway sign wasn’t clear to understand. I had to walk, walk, walk and walk again. Today was started like that.

Victoria station was under construction and closed today. So, there were no trains to go home. I had to transfer twice and wait too long. However I would enjoy that moment if it was not windy.

Greenwich is a mixture of timeline so I couldn’t make judgment before watching it. It’s like Ravioli. You couldn’t know what are their inside it before eating. National Maritime Museum told me about age of sailing and I could understand how England has the power. I felt Greenwich is not just historical city but it’s present. Greenwich reflects the spirit of age. I wish I will be exposed to spirit.

Do you want to visit Greenwich? I’m sure that you need more than two days even though you would skim through Greenwich. Take your time at Greenwich. Feel old and modern times. You can walk through the old chapel or a modern street. But remember! Those are at the same place, name as Greenwich and you are at the center of the time as the present.
