2011.05.29 @Hastings

 I went to bed too late last night so I slept in the morning. I supposed too late to take a day trip but I know when I feel something too late, it’s just time to start.

 Now, I’m in a train to Hastings. I don’t know what I’m able to meet in Hastings. I just expect something nice.

 Back in January 1995, I have been Hastings. It was cold, raining and gloomy day. At that time, I had to transfer a train twice from Waterloo station to Hastings. Anyway, I remember it wasn’t comfortable. However, Hastings, where I am, is changed. If I have seen dead Hastings before, now I’m in live Hastings.

Eating fish and chips, I was hanging around here and there, through narrow lanes. Unconsciously, I found steps contacted end of narrow lane. It was pathway to top of the hill. It was long and winding. I went up the steps. Finally, I arrived at the top of the hill. I was able to see all around Hastings. The hill was like Scotland in my imagination though I never been Scotland before.

If you want to go Hastings, you should go there in summer. If you are real traveler, you could go there in winter. However, don’t blame me. Never! Ever!.
